The heart of the design-build approach is the establishment of a single source of management and accountability, typically with the Construction Manager. This is a fee-based service in which Wesko is responsible exclusively to the owner/developer. The traditional method of project delivery is where the owner/developer maintains the responsibility for choosing a design professional and then a contractor. The General Contractor assumes responsibility for the organization and execution of the construction activities throughout the project. Wesko utilizes subcontractors for all labor performed on a project. Quality subcontractors are chosen, while ensuring price competitiveness and quality work is completed in a timely manner.
